The two co-wrote music for the film. Gifford has donated to numerous charities helping children such as Childhelp, The Association to Benefit Children and Cassidy's Place. Two houses she named in honor of the two kids she raised were Cassidy's Place and Cody House. Marymount University awarded her honorary diplomas for her humanitarian efforts she performed in the field of labor relations.
